15pce metric HSS Tap & Drill Set in Metal Case

Use the drill to create the correct size hole, then use the threading tap to create internal screw threads into the hole, giving a clean fitting for bolts and threaded fasteners etc. The threading tap works like a drill , using the tap wrench insert and rotate the tap into the correct size hole a screw thread is created. For general use in non abrasive material, unalloyed and low alloyed steel when a through hole is required. For thread cutting by hand or machine
